IPL did happen, finally!

The Dream 11 IPL 2020 (season 13) has a winner and I don’t mean the Mumbai


Apparently, the viewership minutes for the first 50 of 60 games has jumped by 26% YoY. Not only have more of us started watching the series (11% more compared to last year), we’ve also started watching more than ever (15% increase in average time spent per match). So who’s the winner?

Despite our many challenges of survival, we’ve taken the time to make this among the most viewed IPL, ever! We made it happen folks, so the winner in this case is you and me.

IPL has another team winning. It’s the Kiranas. Yes, you heard it right. Oct-20 has seen the highest ever active kiranas for 2020. It’s sweeter, coming on the back of over six challenging months fraught with supply chain disruptions, product unavailability, virus fears and more.

In Oct-20 too, like last month, there remain three categories that continue to show higher than pre-lockdown levels of sales. Personal care, the category that was among the most battered during the last six months is oh so close to surpassing its pre-lockdown sales.Yet again, its us. Yes, you & me. We are shoring up our consumption to make Indian FMCG win again. So, we win again!
