India emerged as the world’s 5th largest economy overtaking the UK recently.

The foundations of the Indian economy are built on strong local products and a large market for consumption all of which contribute to the growth of the economy.

However, while we were in the throes of inflationary challenges, we did see signs of improvement earlier. There were significant changes happening across various categories and FMCG couldn’t be left behind.

After months of downtrading, this was a key shift that was seen as the tipping point before the start of the festival season.

Easing of inflation, and control of the pandemic are key headwinds that got controlled at just the right time before we look to set record growth in this festival season.
