RI Tour Season 3.0 _ Sri Lanka Edition

More than 70 CPG leaders, technology executives, and business decision-makers gathered at the iconic Shangri-La Colombo for RI Tour Season 3.0 | Sri Lanka Edition to explore the next evolution of enterprise intelligence in one of the fastest-evolving and high-potential CPG markets.

Sri Lanka was a natural destination for this edition of the RI Tour. With a dynamic and fast-changing CPG landscape, featuring established brands and a burgeoning wave of new entrants, the market is embarking on a new era of digital transformation. As things scale, they call for intelligent technologies that make decision-making easier and execution better.

RI Tour 3.0 was brought to Colombo to spark conversations, share innovations, and showcase how AI-powered enterprise solutions are helping CPG businesses build smarter, faster, and more efficient ways of working.

If software helped us digitise work, can AI Agents help us execute work?

Today, data is there more than ever before, so the challenge is no longer visibility but execution. AI Agents represent the next evolution of enterprise technology by understanding business context, recommending the next best action, and helping teams execute faster and more effectively.

Throughout the evening, industry leaders explored how Agentic AI is transforming sales, distribution, retail execution, and business management by turning enterprise intelligence into real-time action.

What the Open Conversations Revealed

Open Conversations Revealed - RI Tour Season 3.0

The panel featured Samantha Alwis, CEO of Kevilton Electrical Products Ltd (Capital Maharaja Group), Ruvendra Gunnasena, Chief Information Officer at Lion Brewery, and Madhu Kris, Vice President, Growth Asia Pacific at ParallelDots, moderated by Kartikay Mehta, Chief Business Officer at Bizom, to discuss whether organisations are prepared for a future where AI becomes an active participant in execution rather than simply another software tool.

The conversation began with a provocative question: Is visibility a commodity? Dashboards and reports have become ubiquitous in the CPG industry, but panelists agreed that competitive advantage can no longer be gained through access to data. The real differentiator is how fast businesses translate insights into action and execute consistently across every market.

The discussion then moved on to whether technology really is the biggest barrier to transformation. One of the panel members pointed out the need to be ready as an organisation, as well as having the leadership aligned and building trust in AI-powered recommendations, rather than viewing AI as a solution in itself. Successful transformation is as much about people and processes as technology itself.

The panel also looked at how decision-making is evolving in the enterprises of today. As AI brings actionable insights closer to sales reps, distributors and retail managers, organizations have an opportunity to move faster, while freeing leaders to focus on strategic priorities rather than routine operational decisions.

The panel also discussed how AI should reduce the number of repetitive decisions people need to make, freeing up teams to spend more time on customer relationships, innovation and business growth.

How AI Agents are Reshaping Enterprise Execution?

Attendees experienced how Agentic AI is already being applied to solve everyday execution challenges across the CPG ecosystem.

For example, Bizom’s RI Co-Pilot and Bizom Marshal understand business context, analyse frontline interactions, recommend the next best action and support teams to make faster, more informed decisions. Together, they brought to life the event’s core theme of how intelligence is moving from passive reporting to active execution.

By the end of the evening, the participants came to know that the future of enterprise technology is way beyond software that people use.

The future of enterprise technology isn’t the software people use anymore. It is defined by intelligent agents that work with people to make decisions easier, speed up execution and deliver better business outcomes.

A big thank you to each and every customer, partner and industry leader who came down to Colombo and made RI Tour Season 3.0 | Sri Lanka Edition a day to remember. We look forward to furthering these discussions and working together to define the future of AI-powered retail execution.
