January -2021 began by seeing a sustained increase in count of kirana outlets indicating that they are alive and kicking. If anything, Indians seem to be depending on kiranas as a mode of livelihood and we can expect to see sales continuing to remain strong in this


We’re seeing brands with summer products make an availability push as we approach their season time.

Beverages is making a concerted effort at making its products available wider than before. These products are now available in many more outlets than last year too.

Home & Personal Care products just did their biggest month-end push in over a year in preparation of the upcoming summer months.

Consumer Durables are seeing healthy placement of Fans, Coolers, AC’s & other summer products as the fight to win the retailer shelf space has begun.

With an increase in travel services, we’re also seeing a bounce back from categories dependent on Out of home consumption.

Packaged Foods is showing a big MoM sales growth on the back of wider placement of products in preparation of an increase in Out of Home travel. With resumption in travel services, we can expect this category to show a big comeback.
